David welcomes attendees to a TechFire event hosted by Google LA.
David founded and led TechFire as its sole employee, singlehandedly organizing more than 60+ tech conferences and events.
TechFire was recognized in Techmeme’s list of nationally/internationally-significant tech events, alongside the likes of the TechCrunch Disrupt, the Code Conference, and Google I/O.
Aside from day-of event helpers for checkin and setup, and staff from any partners/consulting clients, David singlehandedly handled both all event planning/logistics and also simultaneously emceeing most events.

C-SPAN broadcast on national TV TechFire’s 2017 autonomous vehicle summit, which was hosted by the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office at L.A. City Hall, and featured the top innovator from Silicon Valley (Chris Urmson, former head of the Google Self-Driving Car Project, who had recently left to found Aurora) and the top regulator from Washington (the head of NHTSA), among other speakers.
